Trucking Partners, LLC Announces Opening of TRUCKING PARTNERS EXPRESS

In follow up to its rapid growth in the truckload and LTL segments of the trucking industry, Trucking Partners announced it has opened an expedited service that will operate under the name of Trucking Partners Express. This expedite division will provide on-demand, same day service in exclusive use cargo vans and sprinters. Primary service area will be within the Southeast region of the U.S., i.e. Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Tennessee.

Dwayne Hood, President of Trucking Partners, says "The time is right. Manufacturing in the Southeast has grown significantly over the past ten years, particularly in the automotive industry. We have definitely noticed an uptick in the number of smaller sized, critical shipments needing expedited service." Hood added: "Shipments of this kind will ride door-to-door direct with no stopping by a terminal or cross dock, as with regular LTL shipping. This makes for faster transit times and a lower risk of damage in transit."
