G-Force Model 125 Compressor Fills a Right Size Market Niche
Flowood, MS (PRWEB) April 30, 2014
Forrest Berry recognized the need for a mid-sized natural gas compressor to fill a growing market void. Over the last year, he and his team at NGV Solutions have worked to perfect their baby.
NGV Solutions will introduce its new G-FORCE Model 125 mid-level compressor system at the Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) 2014 Expo in Long Beach, CA on May 5-8.
Berry has been in the natural gas exploration and pipeline business since the 1970s and established NGV Solutions to champion compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicle conversions and fueling solutions.
"Our G-FORCE Model 125 is an economical American made reciprocating compressor package delivering 60-78 gallon equivalents per hour," said Berry. "With its relatively small footprint, high reliability and miserly energy consumption it fills a market need in a big way."
The Model 125 was designed to service fast fill stations in emerging markets, small- to medium-sized time-fill fleets, forklift fleets and portable, temporary refueling sites. Its retail price is $ 179,999.
The heart of the unit is a reciprocating compressor like those used in oilfield applications due to their efficiency, durability and reliability. Its small four foot by 10 foot footprint will fit on a gas station island or in space-restricted area.
"This is a high efficiency compressor and only requires a 60 horse power motor to operate," said Berry. "As a result, it has very low operating costs."
NGV Solutions established its first service center at 5495 Lakeland Drive in Flowood, MS in 2011 with an initial focus on fleet conversions. As a result of market demand, the company quickly expanded into the design and development of CNG fueling systems.
NGV Solutions is a one-stop source for CNG fueling system sales, leasing and consulting as well as natural gas vehicle conversions. The company is committed to customer satisfaction achieved through a never-ending dedication to quality, service and dependability. The equipment it sells and services is specifically engineered for a wide range of applications including: private fleets, the residential market and public refueling stations.
