The Westerly Residences at Wichita Presbyterian Manor Unveils New Information Center
Wichita, KS (PRWEB) August 08, 2013
Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America (PMMA), headquartered in Wichita, is bringing a new senior independent living option to the Wichita Presbyterian Manor campus. Now local seniors can get a sneak peek of The Westerly Residences that will be coming soon to the area. An Information Center is open to the public, and visitors can view a scale model of the community expansion, renderings of the exterior of the community, a variety of floor plans and a virtual tour that shows how individual residences will look once the community expansion is completed.
Future residents and those interested in learning more about The Westerly Residences are invited to a Sneak Preview event from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, to learn about the first-class amenities, services and other benefits coming to the Wichita Presbyterian Manor campus.
"For more than 40 years, Wichita Presbyterian Manor has been providing quality housing and services to area seniors," said Mark Schulte, executive director for Wichita Presbyterian Manor. "Today's older adults have different wants and needs than previous generations of seniors. We are responding to that demand by redeveloping our campus; it will give us a fresh, new appearance and overall updated feel to our campus, making Wichita Presbyterian Manor one of the most desirable senior living communities in the region."
The new addition of The Westerly Residences will offer 90 independent living apartment homes in a variety of floor plan options, with amenities including multiple dining venues and an array of social, cultural, educational, and spiritual programs and activities. And because The Westerly will be a part of the Wichita Presbyterian Manor community, all residents will have access to on-site health care if they ever need it.
The Westerly is part of an overall expansion to the Wichita Presbyterian Manor campus that includes 48 assisted living apartments, 24 assisted living memory support suites, 50 skilled nursing and rehabilitation suites and new health care common spaces, including a main kitchen. These will be completed in phase one of construction, which will begin this summer, and The Westerly will be part of construction in phase two.
Three new staff members have recently joined the Wichita Presbyterian Manor organization, and formed the new sales and marketing team for The Westerly Residences: Jill Coleman as sales director, Deborah Anderson as senior sales counselor and Caren Remmers as marketing assistant. The Westerly sales and marketing team is available at the Information Center to help guide prospective residents throughout their decision-making process, and will provide consultations and extensive information to area older adults and their families who are considering senior living options.
