Cheap Truck Insurance Quotes Now Delivered Online from Insurer Database

Cheap Truck Insurance Quotes Now Delivered Online from Insurer Database

Ricardo PĂ©rez

Boston, Massachusetts (PRWEB) October 17, 2013

Insurance rates for pickup trucks or larger trucks can often be higher than a standard automobile based on the vehicle value and engine size. The Auto Pros USA company is now offering cheap truck insurance quotes using its set of tools listed at http://www.autoprosusa.com/insurance. This set of tools now delivers quotes from up to 50 trusted companies in the auto industry.

Truck drivers, owner-operators and other owners of larger trucks can find it difficult to review policies online that are setup to provide larger amounts of protection.

Some insurers provide standard automobile quotes and do not offer larger truck series insurance quotes. The up to 50 providers that are now listed online to provide easier access to reviewing insurance policies capable of providing larger trucks coverage.

The affordable rates that can be extracted from the system online can be obtained without any exchange of user information during the process. Because no signup is required, no personal data is collected for the use of the insurance quotes system. A new matching system is based on the actual area where truck owners are registered to provide the best rate quotes.

"Entering a zip code into our database is one of the fastest ways that a quote can be produced to help with comparing rates from other companies in the insurance industry," said a source for the AutoProsUSA.com company.

Many insurance companies have moved to a different data collection model to help gauge the level of risk that a driver could present before a policy is underwritten. The secondary collection of data could be one factor in the rise in insurance premiums that some people can experience during an average review of providers, according to the auto industry data.

"Providers of policies that now exist inside of our database are providing rates information that can be hard to obtain when relying on telephone interviews or other offline contact with insurers," the source added.

The Auto Pros USA company insurer database was programmed to be helpful to consumers who are in the early stages of planning a vehicle coverage policy purchase. A truck driver not interested in insurance rates can review the repair warranty companies quotes that can be extracted from the secondary database at http://www.autoprosusa.com/auto-warranty.

About AutoProsUSA.com

The AutoProsUSA.com company now promotes a simple way to receive insurance quotes for cars, pickup trucks and other vehicle types used in North America online. The quotations that are extracted from the company quotes system are provided exclusively by insurers. The AutoProsUSA.com company has grown the auto parts side of the company business model in 2013 by constructing a simple to use secondary parts finder tool linking sellers with buyers nationwide. The company website is updated as new content and inventory is acquired by company staff. A customer service center added by this company now includes a toll-free telephone number for national access.

Warner Bodies? New Select II Has FlushFinish Door System That Stops Corrosion, Theft and Maintenance Issues at Their Source

Warner Bodies' New Select II Has FlushFinish Door System That Stops Corrosion, Theft and Maintenance Issues at Their Source

Warner's new Select II service body features a radically new FlushFinish door system.

Noblesville, Ind. (PRWEB) October 28, 2013

Warner Bodies, a leading manufacturer of service bodies, crane trucks, haulers, fire/rescue trucks, brush trucks and custom vehicles, formally announced the introduction of its new Select II service body today. The Select II features Warner's radically new FlushFinish door system. The rugged doors look and function unlike anything else in the marketplace. The Select II concept is the result of extensive qualitative research conducted with end users and distribution channel partners who identified service body doors as the primary source of corrosion, theft and maintenance problems.

When closed, the doors on the new Select II are entirely flush with the body panels and don't overlap. Recessed doorjambs, polymer seals, water management systems and drains have all been redesigned for optimal performance. The doors are constructed of A60 galvannealed steel with 50 percent greater corrosion-inhibiting properties than most service body doors.

All doors are mounted to the Select II's body structure using removable Nut Zerts and a vertically slotted system that enables doors to be adjusted, serviced or replaced easily without welding. The tough, 5/16-inch, stainless steel, piano-style door hinges are 25 percent beefier than the industry standard and are intentionally left unpainted to prevent chipping paint from migrating from the hinges to the body and causing corrosion.

"In the past, a variety of problems have literally emanated from the doors of service bodies and Warner has set out to eradicate this at its source," Richard Manasek, president of Warner Bodies, said. "We've methodically addressed the inherent weaknesses in traditional service body doors, and in the process have created a new breed of service body that is highly corrosion resistant, more secure and easier to maintain and repair."

The doors system has been completely re-imagined and re-engineered. Most service body doors have lighter-weight steel outer skins that overlap the periphery of the door cavity. The outer skins of the new Select II's FlushFinish doors are constructed of more robust, corrosion-resistant, 14-gauge A60 galvannealed steel. The outer door panel and 16-gauge inner door panels are pan-formed and spot-welded with a strong, central vertical reinforcing member. Warner's new doors are specially constructed to remain watertight, and to resist denting and deformation even under the most adverse service conditions.

The sturdy, double-panel, FlushFinish doors on the Select II are difficult to breach even with a pry bar. Doors are available with standard locking hardware as well as compression T-style latches for added moisture resistance. Shelving systems are highly adjustable, and panels between compartments can be removed to accommodate longer equipment.

"As a truck dealer with a large fleet customers, vehicle durability, serviceability and cost of ownership are critical factors in our purchasing equation," Nancy Schlagenhauf, operations manager for Badger Truck Center, said. "We've spec'd Warner's new Select II bodies on recent vehicle builds because they have the best business case and ROI among all the offerings we explored."

Marketplace feedback indicated that once a door is damaged, it can start a cascading sequence that may dramatically shorten a vehicle's service life. Doors take a lot of abuse in the field, and door repair, adjustment and replacement are common activities. Service body doors are commonly welded in position, and when realignment or replacement become necessary, new weld locations can compromise corrosion resistance and emerge as a source of internal and external rust. In contrast, Warner's new FlushFinish doors can be replaced and precisely adjusted in minutes with no loss of product integrity.

"As a Warner dealer, I see this as a perfect alignment of reliability, quality and affordability," Larry Rose, president of Industrial Truck Equipment, said. "The unique look of the Select II sets it apart from everything else out there, but the 'better mouse trap' value proposition is what excites me and my fleet customers the most."

Beginning in January 2014, the Select II will be manufactured in Warner's new 240,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Elwood, Ind. The new plant has been designed using the latest lean principles and will feature CNC cutting, bending and forming equipment as well as powder, liquid and e-coating capabilities. Bodies will be constructed on a 600-foot-long linear assembly line, and completed bodies will be stored inside. The new facility is expected to exponentially increase Warner's manufacturing speed, productivity and efficiency.

CertifyMe Announces Top OSHA Forklift Safety Violations for 2013

CertifyMe Announces Top OSHA Forklift Safety Violations for 2013

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) November 05, 2013

CertifyMe.net, a one-stop shop for all of your forklift training and forklift operator certification needs announces the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) Top 10 Safety Violations for 2013. Every year, OSHA releases a list of the top ten reasons for safety violations to encourage companies to focus on training and exercise caution. CertifyMe has also compiled a comprehensive infographic with the new OSHA statistics.

The highest number of violations, 8,241, for the year from October 2012 to September 2013 was in the area of fall protection. Employers are required to provide fall protection systems and working/walking surfaces that provide strength and structural integrity to safely support employees at work. Also in the top five were:

    Hazard communication (6,156)
    Scaffolding (5,423)
    Respiratory protection (3,879)
    Electrical wiring methods (3,452)
Powered industrial trucks, or forklifts (3,340)

A company spokesperson commented, "The past five years have seen a disturbing trend in terms of forklift safety violations. Since 2009, powered industrial trucks have risen from eighth place up to sixth. We want to see forklifts drop off the list altogether. This is going to take a concerted effort by industry to emphasize training in OSHA forklift safety procedures."

OSHA Section 1910.178 contains safety requirements related to design, maintenance, fire protection and use of forklift trucks, platform lift trucks, tractors, motorized hand trucks and other industrial trucks powered by internal combustion engines and electric motors.

"Employers need to consistently encourage safe practices at work to keep it in the front of the minds of employees. Lapses in forklift safety are currently responsible for one fatality every three days. Almost half of these (42 percent) are the result of operators being crushed by a tipping vehicle. The correct operator response when a forklift is in the process of tipping is to remain inside the vehicle and brace. Unfortunately, the natural reaction is to jump off the forklift and this is what causes forklift crush fatalities. The correct response needs not only to be taught as part of a comprehensive forklift training but continually reinforced until it becomes part of an operator's DNA."

Other areas on the Top 10 List of OSHA safety violations for 2013 were ladders, the unexpected start-up of machinery, hazardous electrical equipment, and machine guarding to protect employees from mechanical failures.

Marketing Firm AIMG?s New Responsive Website Design for Grounds for Sculpture

Marketing Firm AIMG's New Responsive Website Design for Grounds for Sculpture

Responsive Web Design by AIMG Ensures Proper Display on All Devices

Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) November 26, 2013

The New Jersey Grounds For Sculpture historical site and outdoor sculpture garden, "where art and nature are always at play," recently launched its new website designed and developed by marketing firm AIMG.

"With so many people using a variety of connected devices to access information they are interested in, it was important that the website display properly regardless of the screen size it is being viewed on," said Joe DeMicco, Found & CEO of AIMG. "So we developed the new Grounds For Sculpture website using responsive web design, which allows it to adjust optimally to the device the person is using without losing integrity of design or functionality. Though we live in a world where information is accessed in many ways, each visitor is viewing the site on the one and only screen that person cares to use at that moment".

Among the new website features is the extensive art catalog. Highlighting the artists and artwork featured at the Grounds, the new art catalog allows site visitors to search for a specific artist by name or simply browse the artwork displayed in the online gallery.

"The client wanted the website to do more than just showcase its artists," said DeMicco. "They wanted the site to be accessible to everyone and to accurately communicate the essence of the park - what someone may experience by visiting the Grounds. Part of the task of creating that online experience is usability. In addition to being baseline ADA compliant, we wanted the experience of using the website to be as pleasant as a walk through the Grounds. In fact, we worked to integrate the client's forward thinking branding initiative to ensure consistency of experience across collateral print and online materials. This approach is particularly important to facilitate a smooth experience as media is shared across social networks."

The new website also features an easy-to-use administrative backend that is only accessible to the client's administrators through a secure login not available to the public. The flexibility of the content management functionality allows the client to make updates and edits to the site at any time, including adding new artists and artwork to the online art catalog, without the need for a web developer.

You can access the Grounds for Sculpture website from any web-enabled mobile or desktop device by visiting http://www.groundsforsculpture.org.

Graphic Products Releases OSHA?s Top 10 Safety Violations for 2013

Graphic Products Releases OSHA's Top 10 Safety Violations for 2013

Portland, OR (PRWEB) December 19, 2013

Because the "usual suspects" tend to populate the list every year, it's clear that more work needs to be done to generate safety awareness in those categories. Violations of each of the top 10 most cited standards for FY 2013 (Oct. 1, 2012 to Sept. 30, 2013):

1) Fall Protection (1926.501): 8,241violations

2) Hazard Communication (1910.1200): 6,156 violations

3) Scaffolding (1926.451): 5,423 violations

4) Respiratory protection (1910.134): 3,879 violations

5) Electrical, wiring methods (1910.305): 3,452 violations

6) Powered industrial trucks (1910.178): 3,340 violations

7) Ladders (1926.1053): 3,311 violations

8) Lockout/tagout (1910.147): 3,254 violations

9) Electrical, general requirements (1910.303): 2,745 violations

10) Machine guarding (1910.212): 2,701 violations

Here are ten ways to prevent becoming next year's statistic:

Fall protection: Fall protection, according to OSHA, should be provided at elevations of four feet in general industry workplaces, five feet in shipyards, six feet in the construction industry and eight feet in long shoring operations.

Hazard communication: The adoption of the GHS-aligned HazCom 2012 standard means a lot of big changes, so read the rule in its entirety. For more information on this topic, request our free HCS/HazCom 2012 Labeling Best Practice Guide.

Scaffolding (construction): Workers must have proper fall protection when working on raised surfaces.

Respiratory protection: Companies must provide appropriate respirators to employees as part of a respiratory protection program.

Ladders: Common issues include non-parallel positioning relative to landings, too much or too little space between rungs, inadequate landing size and ladder bases more than 12 inches off the ground.

Machine guarding: Machine guards protect workers' limbs, skin and eyes from nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. "All saws, jointers and milling machines need machine guards," explained Gary Michael, The Joinery. "We post shop safety policies on the machine guards, using brightly colored signs and labels."

Powered industrial trucks: Ensure that forklifts and other industrial trucks are in top mechanical order. Operators must be trained and certified to operate vehicles safely.

Electrical wiring methods: Trust wiring to licensed, bonded electricians. Use caution with extension cords.

Lockout/tagout: Machinery or equipment can unexpectedly energize, start up or release stored energy. Use professional-grade lockout and tagout supplies.

Electrical general requirements: Avoid consumer-rated appliances for commercial work environments.

Romania Construction Industry Trends and Opportunities to 2017 Forecasts in a New Research Report at RnRMarketResearch.com

Romania Construction Industry Trends and Opportunities to 2017 Forecasts in a New Research Report at RnRMarketResearch.com

Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) December 29, 2013

The Romanian construction industry grew significantly in the two years between Romania's entry to the European Union in 2007 and the global economic crisis in 2009. The construction industry in Romania contracted during the crisis as the country entered economic recession from the third quarter of 2008. The industry registered a CAGR of 2.85% during the review period. The construction industry's growth is expected to grow over the forecast period, as a result of government focus on infrastructure and residential construction. The industry's output is expected to record a CAGR of 6.55% over the forecast period.

The Romanian construction industry suffered a recession and slowdown in output due to the financial crisis in 2009. The country recorded a small recovery in 2011, and continued to show signs of recovery until 2012. From January to May 2013 the construction production index recorded an average decline of -7.7%, but began to grow during June-September 2013 as the index grew by an average of 5.1%. This indicates that the industry is still fragile and failing to match its pre-financial-crisis growth rates, but is displaying signs of stability as a basis for sustained recovery. This growth is largely attributed to the increase in the real estate prices and strong support from public investment. According to the National Institute of Statistics (INS), the economy grew by 4.1% in the third quarter of 2013 compared to the same period in 2012.

According to the World Economic Forum's Global Competitiveness Report 2013-2014, Romania ranked 106th out of 148 economies in terms of overall infrastructure quality. The quality of its roads ranked 145th, the quality of its rail infrastructure ranked 82nd, and the quality of its ports ranked 123rd. The government is investing heavily to improve the country's infrastructure and make it more effective for transport and logistics.

In Transparency International's Corruption Perception Index 2013, Romania is ranked 29th out of the 31 countries in the European Union (EU). The country's relative difficulty in conducting business and its high level of corruption creates a barrier of entry for new construction companies. In July 2013, Romanian Transport Minister Relu Fenechiu was sentenced to five years in jail on charges of illegally selling second-hand electrical equipment as new. Corruption of this nature is common, and damages the reputation of the construction industry.

According to the INS, the country's exports increased by 8.4% in the first three quarters of 2013, whereas imports decreased by 0.7%. In the second half of 2013, the Romanian government devised a new strategy to increase exports to China, the US, Russia and Arab countries over 2014-2020. The strategy involves the implementation of an advocacy group consisting of multinational companies, banks and foreign business consultants to direct the government in increasing exports and industrial capacity.

The Romanian government is introducing a tax on special construction projects, which would result in a yearly cost of RON178,525 (US$ 55,104) for each wind turbine in Romania. This could generate an added cost of RON133.9 million (US$ 41.3 million) for the entire renewable energy sector in Romania, according to the Association for Wind Energy. As a result, construction in the renewable energy sector could be reduced.

Forklifts Procurement Research Report Now Available from IBISWorld

Forklifts Procurement Research Report Now Available from IBISWorld

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 26, 2013

Forklifts have a buyer power score of 3.2 out of 5, reflecting a balance between buyers and suppliers; a score of 1 signifies low buyer power and a score of 5 demonstrates high buyer power. Because forklifts can be either purchased as a completed product or customized to meet specific needs, the moderate level of specialization gives power to both the supplier and the buyer. "The work at hand for the buyer dictates the types of forklifts purchased," says IBISWorld procurement analyst Lauren Setar. For example, a buyer looking to move goods of a specific weight capacity will purchase a forklift capable of handling that amount of weight. When choosing a specific forklift based on these work-related needs, buyers have fewer options, and as a result, their buyer power is reduced. A moderate level of market share concentration increases a buyer's negotiating power, however, as they can easily compare prices with another supplier.

The type of motor in a forklift can affect its price. For example, an electric-powered forklifts cost more than forklifts powered by an internal combustion engine. In addition to the upfront costs when purchasing forklift, there are also ongoing costs to owning a forklift, increasing its total cost of ownership. Furthermore, additions to a standard forklift, including different types of tires, extra batteries, chargers and filters, will add to the overall cost of a forklift, and buyers must be aware of these extra costs. "Buyers must also consider the supply risks to forklift suppliers, as volatile input costs can disrupt the supply chain," says Setar. There are few direct substitutes for buyers, however, allowing suppliers to charge higher prices and decreasing buyers' purchasing power.

Fortunately for buyers, switching costs are relatively low: There are many forklift manufacturers and wholesalers in the market, and buyers can easily compare forklift prices and features before making a purchase. Major vendors include Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc., Komatsu Ltd., Mitsubishi Electric and Toyota Industries Corporation. Due to the number of suppliers, buyers can switch vendors relatively easily. As a result, both buyers and suppliers have power in forklift negotiations, which accounts for the moderate buyer power score.

Interdean Respond to News that UK Universities Favoured by Students from India

Interdean Respond to News that UK Universities Favoured by Students from India

(PRWEB UK) 23 December 2013

Expat Forum has reported that a survey, conducted by the British Council, has discovered that students from India consider UK universities to be the best for high quality courses, despite rising fees for expat students. The British Council's study considered the views of over 10,000 young people across India, with the results highlighting the students' attitudes towards higher education in their home country and abroad, as well as the aspects which contribute to their choice of university.

Results indicated that 61% of students consider the quality of courses to be important while 42% believed it to be the cost of studying overseas, with 43% of participants revealing that they were influenced by the opportunity to receive financial support such as bursaries and scholarships.

According to the Expat Forum report, India provides the largest group of international students in the UK after China, with between 75% and 80% studying for postgraduate degrees. While the US is home to the highest number of international Indian students, the UK follows closely behind in second place. Yet the authors of the study offered the reminder that the figures cannot be taken for granted, with the number of international students declining in the UK and the US following rising costs to study abroad.

As international removals experts who have a wealth of experience in assisting with overseas moves, the team at Interdean follow any news concerning international students. A representative for the firm offered their response to the recent news:

"International students have much to offer the UK, as well as UK students offering plenty to countries around the world, so it is welcome news that a high number of Indian students are choosing to study in UK universities. The results of this research also demonstrate to UK universities how they can continue to cater for international students, with the research revealing that while the UK's higher education courses are considered to be of a high quality, the cost can be a barrier to many students. We look forward to following news on the number of international students choosing UK universities for their higher education."

Interdean have over 50 years' experience providing a comprehensive range of services to cater for international students, helping them to start the process of studying abroad or in the UK as smoothly as possible. From efficient shipping to secure storage services, Interdean are renowned for their high quality services.

Rabbit TV 2 Could Give the Competition a Serious Run For Their Money.

Rabbit TV 2 Could Give the Competition a Serious Run For Their Money.

(PRWEB) December 23, 2013

Innovation is a beautiful thing for consumers in 2014. Most have weathered the recession but spending habits have permanently changed. One thing that has not changed for the American Consumer is the love of television. Research has shown that the average U.S. monthly cable bill in 2012 was $ 86. Recent figures have suggested that by 2015 that number will increase to $ 123 a month.

The world of television was changed upon the release of online subscription based streaming services. For a minimal monthly fee of $ 7.99 consumers have access to in demand Television streaming on any of their electronic devices. Just when you thought you were getting the deal of the century Rabbit TV entered the arena. Since the release of Rabbit TV in February by FreeCast over 2 million people have subscribed. For a an astonishingly low $ 10 a year Rabbit TV claims to offer the world's largest online index of TV shows, movies, and live events. Currently only available in a USB stick rumors of Rabbit TV 2.0 could give the competition a serious run for their money.

Rabbit TV "Plus" will allow customers to access Rabbit TV on their smartphones and tablets, mimicking the ease of other subscription based streaming services. Upon purchase they will also receive a complimentary cable allowing them to watch directly from their television sets. Most available TV network apps only provide short clips of programs, the ability to watch full length shows on your TV would set Rabbit TV 2.0 apart.

In less than a year, Rabbit TV has managed to acquire an impressive subscription base. Now that Rabbit TV will be providing multiple viewing platforms, they could become a serious competitor for major TV suppliers. For now they only provide an index of TV shows and movies that are already freely available on the web, but it's easy to operate interface and the ability to purchase add on services such as movies and on demand programming could make it a bona fide contender. Although no official pricing has been released, it is safe to say that subscriptions will still be far less than cable and maybe even less expensive than any other comparable service in the market.

William Mobley, FreeCast CEO was quoted recently as claiming: "Last year, a survey determined the average person would pay $ 12 a month for online-only access of seven premium cable channels. We expect to accumulate an active audience of over 10 million subscribers in the next year – at $ 10+ monthly this quickly adds up to the same $ 100 million these providers make from over 50 million cable subscribers pulling $ 2 per month in licensing fees. It's just a matter of time before the networks realize how much money they're leaving on the table."

Interdean Comments on Results of Survey into Possibility of Working Abroad

Interdean Comments on Results of Survey into Possibility of Working Abroad

(PRWEB UK) 22 December 2013

It has been reported by HR Director that new research has revealed that two fifths of people in the UK would be prepared to halt the progression of their career in order to secure employment abroad. The survey, which took responses from 1822 residents of the UK aged between 25 and 40 and educated to degree level, found that 68% would contemplate living and working abroad. Further results discovered that 38% would expect a job at the same level as their existing employment if they moved abroad, while 20% stated that they would only move overseas if their career progressed in some way.

As experts in overseas removals, the specialists at Interdean have helped thousands of people move overseas for business or work opportunities. As a result, the team were interested in the results of this survey and a spokesperson for the company offered their comments:

"This recent survey highlights how important employment is considered to be for individuals looking to move abroad and offers an interesting insight into the reasons for moving abroad. It is not uncommon for individuals to move overseas for employment prospects, but it is interesting that those participating in the survey would take a lower position than their existing one in order to gain employment abroad. However, many people often cite a higher quality of life as a reason for moving abroad, and while employment is an important aspect of living and working abroad."

Analysis and Forecast of China Forklift Industry, 2013-2017

Analysis and Forecast of China Forklift Industry, 2013-2017

London (PRWEB) November 26, 2013

At present, there are more than 30 internal combustion forklift enterprises, about 20 electric forklift enterprises, more than 30 warehouse forklift and light-small industrial trucks enterprises, as well as more than 10 wholly foreign-owned enterprises and joint ventures in China.

In 2012, the accumulative sales volume of forklifts in China was 288,662 units, decreased by 8% over 2011. In the first quarter of 2013, the accumulative sales volume was 45,720 units, of which, Anhui Forklift Truck Group accounted for 42.92% of the total sales volume and Hangcha Group accounted for 41.05%.

Although China's forklift industry develops rapidly, there are very few high-tech forklift manufacturers in China; some Sino-foreign joint ventures and foreign well-known forklift manufacturers have occupied China's high-end forklift market, and the high-end is mainly reflected in the aspects of intelligent, informatization, as well as automation, while most of China's forklift manufacturers occupy the medium and low-end forklift market. Currently, the foreign-funded enterprises compete fiercely in the medium-end forklift market, and some domestic forklift manufacturers begin to fight for high-end market instead of staying in low-end market, and foreign-funded forklift manufacturers begin to pay more attention to medium and high-end market.

As for the low-lift forklift and hydraulic carrying vehicle fields, overcapacity situation appears in China's forklift industry. In 2013, some forklift manufacturers make production adjustment through market regulation; as for the domestic backward technology in high-lift electric forklift field, some China's forklift manufacturers may cooperate with foreign forklift manufacturers so as to make up for this shortcoming and strive to achieve breakthrough in this respect. At the same time, the electric forklifts higher than 8 meters begin to take shape in China, therefore, more domestic forklift manufacturers will develop electric warehouse forklifts with high lift and large tonnage in the future.

Stimulated by national macro-environment and related policy, China's forklift industry will show an upward trend in the next few years, especially in the high-end and special forklift fields, the growth of market demand will be relatively large; it is estimated that the sales volume will reach 350,000 units by 2017.
