Rims Fitment Provider, SizeItUp Launches Fitment Data for the 2012 Subaru Impreza

Rims Fitment Provider, SizeItUp Launches Fitment Data for the 2012 Subaru Impreza

Size It Up

New York,NY (PRWEB) April 02, 2013

Last week, SizeItUp officially announced its integration of the fitment data of the 2012 Subaru Impreza. Regular updates to the SizeItUp fitment guide make it a reliable database solution for online wheel and tire businesses.

Subscribers of the SizeItUp database solution can now feature the 2012 Subaru Impreza on their website and sell auto-parts for the vehicle. Creating a custom fitment solution would have otherwise been a hassle for most small businesses. On the other hand, having a fitment application is critical to the functioning of an online wheel and tire store.

However, size it up's solution includes annual updates, and has grown to catalogue over 140 wheel brands into its database. They are the largest supplier of wheel brand data available for download. Their decision to integrate fitment data for the Impreza stems from the model's appealing design, and competitive size.

The 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0i models runs on a 2.0-liter, horizontally opposed "boxer" four-cylinder engine that produces 148 hp and 145 pound-feet of torque. It also embodies a symmetrical transmission system where front and rear power is evenly distributed. The redesigned 2012 Subaru Impreza is available as a sedan or hatchback, and also includes standard safety features such as stability and traction control, antilock disc brakes, front side airbags and side curtain airbags.

SizeItUp's database includes the make and model of every car manufactured since 1960. As they continue to update for new models, their fitment guide proves to be an excellent solution for wheel and tire businesses.

About SizeItUp:

Sizeitup is for companies who had to learn the hard way that open source software is not the way to develop a wheel and tire website. Sizeitup is a wheel and tire fitment data provider that can provide fitment data for your electronic catalog or website. Not only is the fitment guide offered by Sizeitup ACES compliant, it is also compatible with eBay and Amazon. The fitment guide includes staggered fitments, dually fitments, lifted truck fitments, biggest plus size fitment, and big brake fitments which are all verified against real vehicles. SizeItUp has partnered with Shopping Cart Elite, to offer wheel and tire businesses a complete turnkey eCommerce solution.

Andy's Auto Sport Adds Style and Height to their Project F250

Andy's Auto Sport Adds Style and Height to their Project F250

Morgan Hill, CA (PRWEB) April 08, 2013

The garage at Andy's Auto Sport seems to be a site of constant activity. With a varied collection of cars to choose from, the guys at Andy's always have some sort of project to work on. Last week, a 1985 Audi 4000S was turned into a racing car. The week before, a stealth-black 2013 Camaro had a remote-mounted twin-turbo kit installed. This week, the emphasis in the garage has moved away from speed and towards style.

While the guys at Andy's Auto Sport love going as quickly as possible, they're not without their stylish attachments, either. They figure that looking good is just as important as going really, really fast. So, Andy's Auto Sport went ahead and fitted their project Ford F250 with a Fabtech 8" lift kit. The 2-day installation process was arduous but rewarding, as the F250 now riding higher and prouder than before.

While the kit has a dramatic effect on the aesthetics of the car, the real beauty of this lift kit is its simplicity and practicality. It takes all the guess work out of raising a truck, and all the necessary parts are supplied ready to fit. When raising a truck, many of the suspension and steering components are no longer in proper alignment, or they are too short to connect to their mounting points. The proper location of these components is essential for safety and predictable handling, and the kit has all those compromises accounted for. The steering system's change in location is compensated for with modified panhard bar mounts, Pittman arm, and drag-link drop-mount. Modifications to the suspension system include replacement leaf springs with a stronger arch in the front, additional leaf springs for the rear with a 4.5" raising block, and sway bar links. The result is a truck that steers and rides just as well as it did when stock. The increased spring rate and added Dirtwork Shocks have virtually no negative effect on the ride quality – the guys at Andy's describe it as "slightly firmer, but not unruly".

The guys at Andy's remarked on the installation process being quite simple. The instructions were well laid-out and easy to make sense of, and absolutely nothing needed any adjustment after the fact: all the parts fit perfectly. According to the mechanic himself, the installation process would take one savvy guy without a lift roughly 10-12 hours and two guys with a lift somewhere in the 6-7 hour range.

For those who want the best handling a lifted truck can provide, Fabtech offers a coilover conversion kit which adds a certain degree of cornering precision one doesn't usually experience in a truck, let alone one that's lifted nearly a foot higher. When the guys at Andy's speak of adding these coilovers to his F250, there's a noticeable glint in their eyes. Perhaps they've got some plans for the near future.

Andy's Auto Sport is an online retailer and wholesaler of OEM and aftermarket automotive parts and accessories, and is the largest retailer of aftermarket body kits in the world, with more than 2 million unique online visitors per month. The company serves customers worldwide and has been featured in magazines such as Import Tuner, Modified, Low Rider, Truckin', as well as on television shows such as Pimp My Ride, Street Fury, Trucks!, and Two Guys Garage.

Loans Against Construction Equipment Are Thriving, Says VMI LLC

Loans Against Construction Equipment Are Thriving, Says VMI LLC

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 10, 2013

VMI LLC, a nationwide asset-based funding source that provides flexible loan solutions for businesses with heavy equipment that is pledged as collateral has just announced an application only program. Under this program, a construction company can get working capital ranging from $ 10,000 up to $ 250,000 with only a completed application and equipment list.

The application only program is available to construction companies looking to get loans against construction equipment that is owned free and clear. The program focuses on the collateral not just the credit of the guarantor. The equipment loan company offers its working capital program to a variety of industries, including excavation, grading, demolition, paving, wrecking, hauling, and many more.

VMI will typically finance heavy equipment of all varieties, including tractors, loaders, graders, excavators, cranes, skidders and dump trucks. These often include well-known brands like Caterpillar, John Deere, Case, Komatsu, Hitachi, Kenworth and Peterbilt.

Many construction companies are starting to see an uptick in projects. In order for these companies to start or complete the jobs, they need working capital to finance these projects.

Unfortunately, many traditional lenders still are not lending to construction companies. These companies become frustrated because the banks are not lending to them despite the fact they need the financing to get the work done.

By working with VMI and securing a loan against equipment, companies can get much needed funding. As noted on the company's website, funding occurs in days not months.

Skylar Marshall, Communications Specialist of the equipment loan company, remarked, "We provide a real working capital solution to construction companies when they get declined for loans from traditional lenders. We get them money fast because in the construction industry, time truly is money.

"Traditional lenders have abandoned the commercial construction industry, but we are ready to provide construction companies with the working capital they need."

About VMI LLC:

VMI LLC provides secured construction equipment financing for companies that need working capital. Construction equipment funding is available for tractors, excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, scrapers, dump trucks, cranes, forklifts, backhoes, steers and other heavy equipment. Working capital loans are approved based on the equipment and not just credit. For more information, please visit http://www.financeheavyequipment.com

Mark Talks Disability with David Cameron

Mark Talks Disability with David Cameron

Leicester, Leicestershire (PRWEB UK) 24 July 2013

Leicester entrepreneur Mark Esho has told the Prime Minister his story of overcoming disability to establish and grow a successful 12-year-old business.

Mark, founder of Easy Internet Services, was one of five people who talked with David Cameron at the launch of the Government's Disability Confidence campaign.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith, Business Secretary Vince Cable and Minister for Disabled People Esther McVey at the event in London.

David Cameron was keen to hear the story of Mark and four other disabled business people and employees. Disability Confidence is a two year advertising campaign to help businesses become more confident about recruiting disabled people.

Mark said: "It was a very engaged discussion about disability. Being the father of a disabled child, it is a subject he knows a lot about. I told him about the challenges facing a disabled person in business and how I set up Easy Internet Services."

Mark said the fact he was black and had a disability – he is unable to walk long distances because of childhood polio – made establishing his business much harder. A decade on, and his company, Easy Internet Services & Solutions, in Enderby Road, Leicester employs 20 people and has 50,000 customers. Easy Internet provides a wide range of services including Web Hosting & Domain Name Registration (FreeVirtualServers.com), Search Engine Optimisation (123Ranking.co.uk), Social Media Marketing (123SocialMedia.co.uk), and Online Storage (FreeVirtualServers.com/online-storage-drive).

Around 300 employers, including FTSE 100 companies, attended the London conference to launch the campaign.

According to the Department of Work and Pensions, there are 6.9 million disabled people of working age in Great Britain, and the employment rate for disabled people has increased gradually over the years from 42.2% in 2002 to 46.3% in 2012.

Prime Minister David Cameron said: "I am delighted we are holding this first Disability Employment Conference and launching this new campaign to help employers become confident employing disabled people.

"This isn't just about doing what is right for disabled people. Employing disabled people makes business sense too. We need to break the myth about the complexities of employing disabled people, or to put it more simply – to give employers confidence."

Asons Solicitors Comments on HSE Statistics: Manufacturing is 10% of the UK Workforce, but Results in 25% of Fatalities

Asons Solicitors Comments on HSE Statistics: Manufacturing is 10% of the UK Workforce, but Results in 25% of Fatalities

(PRWEB UK) 9 April 2013

Accidents in the workplace can range from a minor slip or trip, to a fatality. Recently, Asons Solicitors have received an increased number of work place accident claims, demonstrating that despite improving health and safety regulations, workplace injuries and ailments are still commonplace.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have recently reported that despite manufacturing industries only accounting for 10% of the British workforce, they are responsible for 25% of employee fatalities and 16% of reported injuries to employees.

Often, the nature of the work contributes to the prevalence of factory accidents claims, with work involving the use of fork lift trucks considered by the HSE to be "particularly dangerous in the workplace." The HSE report asserts that around 15% of the reported major injuries were caused by moving machinery, with fork lift accidents contributing to those statistics.

Considering accidents at work, Asons Executive Laura Williams, released the following statement:

"Fork lift accidents are known to be common and the dangers are well publicized; employers have a responsibility to ensure they have met the legal minimums for basic training fulfilling the 'duty of care' they have to their employees."

Employers who utilise Fork Lift Trucks within the workplace can put in place various procedures to minimise the associated risks:

Provide operators and ground personnel with appropriate personal protective equipment, including: high visibility jackets, hard hats and safety boots.
Attempt to separate areas of forklift operations from those used by pedestrians
Protective barriers should be erected just outside entrances and exits to prevent ground personnel from stepping into the path of moving fork lift trucks.
Fork lift routes should be clearly marked, giving way to pedestrians where possible.
Supervisors and trained professionals should be present to identify arising issues before a serious incident occurs.
Fork lift trucks should be well maintained, according to health and safety standards.

Speaking on work place accidents, Asons Claims Executive, Becki Raby, commented:

"From reading the statistics and considering my professional experience, the majority of factory accidents are easily preventable; especially in the case of Fork Lift Accidents. Following procedures, in this case, saves lives; more employers should take note."

Unfortunately, not all employers are as diligent as they should be. As the statistics from the HSE suggest, despite how preventable they are, work place accidents are commonplace. In a case where health and safety guidelines haven't been followed, resulting in an accident, a case for work place accident compensation can be made.

Asons Solicitors have a wealth of knowledge and expertise relating to workplace injuries; priding themselves on the provision of first-class legal advice and support. Asons are happy to provide counsel to those who consider themselves to have had an accident at work, which could easily have been prevented.

If you, or someone you know, have suffered a work place accident, contact Asons solicitors today to find out what kind of help is available. Contact Asons on: 0844 850 1062 or fill out a claim form at http://www.asons.co.uk

Global Range Extenders Market for Electric Vehicles Land, Water & Air - Worldwide Industry Analysis,Forecast, Study, Growth, Trend Market Research Report 2013-2023

Global Range Extenders Market for Electric Vehicles Land, Water & Air - Worldwide Industry Analysis,Forecast, Study, Growth, Trend Market Research Report 2013-2023

MarketResearchReports.biz

Albany, NY (PRWEB) July 10, 2013

We are in the decade of the hybrid electric vehicle despite the fact that most off-road and underwater vehicles are pure electric. That includes most forklifts, golf cars and mobility vehicles for the disabled, plus Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and personal submarines. Indeed, most electric aircraft are pure electric as well. The reason is that these are mainly small as are electric two-wheelers, which are also almost all pure electric. Small vehicles rarely need to travel long distances.

To View The Complete Report With TOC Visit@ http://www.marketresearchreports.biz/analysis-details/range-extenders-for-electric-vehicles-land-water-and-air-2013-2023

In addition, these pure electric vehicles are often used where a conventional engine is banned as on lakes and indoors or where it is impracticable as with underwater vehicles. By contrast, half the electric vehicle market value lies in larger road vehicles, notably cars, and here the legal restrictions are weaker or non-existent and range anxiety compels most people to buy hybrids if they go electric at all.

About eight million hybrid cars will be made in 2023, each with a range extender, the additional power source that distinguishes them from pure electric cars. Add to that significant money spent on the same devices in buses, military vehicles, boats and so on and a major new market emerges. This unique report is about range extenders for all these purposes - their evolving technology and market size. Whereas today's range extenders usually consist of little more than off the shelf internal combustion engines, these are rapidly being replaced by second generation range extenders consisting of piston engines designed from scratch for fairly constant load in series hybrids.

To Buy The Copy of This Report Visit: http://www.marketresearchreports.biz/analysis/170716

There are some wild cards like Wankel engines and rotary combustion engines or free piston engines both with integral electricity generation. However, a more radical departure is the third generation micro turbines and fuel cells that work at constant load. The report compares all these. It forecasts the lower power needed over the years given assistance from fast charging and energy harvesting innovations ahead. Every aspect of the new range extenders is covered.

This report profiles key developers, manufactures and integrators of range extenders for land, water and airborne electric vehicles. It gives ten year forecasts of the different types of electric vehicle and of range extenders by number, unit value and market value. Market drivers and the changing requirements for power output are analysed. Will shaftless range extenders with no separate electricity generator take over and when will that be? What fuels will be used and when? What are the pros and cons of each option and who are the leaders? It is all here.

Progress Solar Skid-Mount Light Tower

Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) July 01, 2013

Progress Solar Solutions™, LLC the pioneers of solar and wind powered light towers, market-share leader and manufacturer of towable Progress Solar™ and Progress Solar/Wind™ Light Towers is now offering a skid-mount version of its popular portable solar powered outdoor light plants. This new offering adds to the largest selection of towable outdoor lighting systems powered by renewable energy (sun and wind power). Progress Solar offers products that work anywhere including the extremes from dessert heat to arctic cold. The skid-mount unit can be moved via fork-lift or by crane hook and is designed to be transported by a flatbed truck. The units can be easily mounted directly to concrete, wood, matting or simply dropped onto any relatively level location.

Progress Solar™ had its fourth consecutive year of significant growth in 2012 with recent expansions in its manufacturing capabilities. Progress Solar is a preferred or approved vendor for many of the top U.S. Equipment Rental Companies and also distributes in many other countries ex-U.S. The Progress Solar and Solar/Wind Light Towers are made in the U.S. (patents pending) and resemble a traditional towable diesel light tower, but are designed to operate on renewable energy eliminating or minimizing the use of fossil fuels or generation of carbon emissions. The light plants can be powered a number of ways. They are powered primarily by two on-board solar power generators and an optional wind generator housed above the custom LED flood lights. And for redundancy and as a backup, the large battery bank stores numerous days of lighting (now up to 60 hours run time on a full battery bank) and can always be charged via an on-board, dual-bank AC power charger (backup), if ever needed.

The Progress Solar Series of Light Towers are rugged, mobile, outdoor lighting systems that provide high-intensity, bright white lighting on-demand, where and when you need it. It is equipped with high power generating Solar Modules housed on automated solar wings that can be optimally positioned toward the sun to maximize solar energy gain; an optional wind turbine at the top of the telescoping mast; four (4) or more solid-state LED flood lights with high lumen output; and a long-life Power Module with AGM, no maintenance, sealed, deep-cycle batteries to store energy for use when needed at night or during inclimate weather. The light tower is fully adjustable from 12-30ft in height, lights can be individually tilted up/down and the mast can be rotated to direct the light exactly where it is needed. The solid-state LED flood lights provide a tremendous amount of light, minimize power requirements; provide instant-on/off with no flickering; are extremely reliable, vibration and shatter resistant; and designed to provide up to 5x longer run time between bulb changes than historically used high-intensity-discharge lights (on diesel light plants). The Solar/Light Control Module protects the system from over/under charging and the lights can be turned on/off automatically from a timer, at user-programmable time intervals or manually on-demand. The system is on a portable trailer customized for maximum functionality and convenience and can be easily towed to its destination.

Interdean Responds to New Statistics Showing the Amount of Chinese Expats Living in Japan

Interdean Responds to New Statistics Showing the Amount of Chinese Expats Living in Japan

(PRWEB UK) 9 July 2013

According to the China Daily in an article published on the 19th June 2013, the number of Chinese living in Japan is still the highest of all expat nationalities despite a recent drop in numbers, according to figures revealed by the Japanese Department of Justice.

Figures showed that there were 652,000 Chinese living in Japan which accounts for around 32 per cent of all expats in the country. This was closely followed by the Koreans where 530,000 expats live and work in Japan. By the end of 2012 there were 2,033,000 registered expats in Japan – a decrease on recent years.

The statistics are of interest to international moving company Interdean who help people move all over the world, including to Japan. Although they suggest a drop in expats, the country still experiences the highest expat levels compared to other countries. On hearing the statistics a spokesperson added:

"Japan has proved itself to be a hugely popular expat destination and although expat levels have slightly dropped they are said to be rapidly improving. Chinese expats returned home after the earthquake in 2011, but are slowly coming back to Japan in search of jobs and a better way of life."

Interdean expects the trend to continue as expats return to Japan.

Interdean has been helping families, expats, backpackers, travelers and students move overseas since 1959. Rims Fitment Provider, SizeItUp Is Launching Database Integration for the 2012 BMW 6 Series

Rims Fitment Provider, SizeItUp Is Launching Database Integration for the 2012 BMW 6 Series

Size It Up

New York,NY (PRWEB) April 09, 2013

Last week, SizeItUp announced their integration of the 2012 BMW 6 Series. Considering the positive reviews the model has received from automobile experts and review sites, the fitment data provider thought it would be a good idea to include the fitment data for the model.

The 2012 BMW 6 Series exemplifies powerful engines, luxurious interiors and superior handling. The convertible model embodies a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 that produces 315 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. The coup is a rear wheel drive that includes an eight-speed automatic transmission, and an automated start/stop system to save fuel. Standard safety features include four-wheel antilock brakes with advanced standby and drying features, front-seat side and front knee airbags, active head restraints and BMW Assist.

The two options offered with the 2012 BMW 6 Series are the 640i and 650i trim levels, both of which are available as a coupe or a convertible. The 640i includes 18-inch wheels while the 650i differs with a V8 engine, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Considering the sleek, stylish design of the 2012 BMW 6 Series, and the demand of luxury automobiles, sizeitup anticipated that customers will be eager to purchase rims for the model. Without a fitment application guide, it becomes very difficult for online rim retailers to provide fitment information.

However, as SizeItUp continues to update its database every year, subscribers can rely on providing customers with reliable fitment data for the latest vehicle models.

About SizeItUp:

SizeItUp is for companies who are dissatisfied with their wheel and tire fitment guide. Unlike, other fitment guides, Sizeitup offers an ACES compliant fitment guide that will work with eBay and Amazon. We have reached over 20,000 vehicle applications for wheel and tire fitment data. From single fitments to staggered fitments, dually fitments, and lifted truck applications, Sizeitup has the largest and most accurate application guide on the market. By continuing to update our database for new releases every year, we have extended our database to include the make and model of every vehicle made since 1960.

    Bumpers

    Seating

    Upholstery

    Instrument panel

    Internal and External Trims

The researchers on light weight plastic materials such as composite materials, reinforced plastics, and polymers have come up with improved material qualities that make them suitable for use in interior, exterior, and under bonnet components of automobiles. The careful selection of these automotive plastics is very important in the industry as it enables designers to improve durability, meet load bearing requirements, and achieve reduction in vehicle weight.

In 2012, Asia-Pacific was leading in the automotive plastics consumption volume by 50.5%, followed by Europe (28%), North America (11.3%), and rest of the world (10.1%). Among these regions polypropylene leads consumption by 37%, followed by polyurethanes (PU) (17.3%), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) (12.3%), composites (11.5%), high density polyethylene (HDPE) (10.8%), polycarbonates (PC) (6.8%), and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) (4.4%), due to their easy forming properties and their availability at cheaper price than other materials.

The automotive plastics are among one of the widely preferred alternatives for light-weighting of automobile as they offer enhanced properties such as superior impact strength, easy mold-ability, improved aesthetics, and reduced weight as compared to conventional automotive components such as High speed steel (HSS) and Aluminum. The increasing demand of passenger cars and the supply to fulfill the same in Asia-Pacific is one of the main drivers for increasing consumption of automotive plastics globally.

The market dynamics of Automotive Plastics Market for Passenger Cars are studied for market insights such as drivers, restraints, and opportunity. The main drivers of automotive plastics utilization are their potential for reducing the weight of automobile and fuel consumption reduction potential by reduction in the weight of the vehicle. The market presents opportunities in new materials such as reinforced composites and PMMA.

Aequitas Automotive Announce Launch of New Tyre Insurance Brand as Part of Expansion Plans for the UK Insurance Provider in 2013

Aequitas Automotive Announce Launch of New Tyre Insurance Brand as Part of Expansion Plans for the UK Insurance Provider in 2013

Wirral, UK (PRWEB UK) 7 July 2013

Leading insurance provider, Aequitas Automotive, have announced the development of a new tyre insurance brand in the UK. The company, who are best known for independent Gap Insurance brands Easy Gap and GapInsurance123, have confirmed the new tyre insurance brand will be part of extensive expansion plans in 2013. This will include the introduction of a range of new products, redeveloped current brands and a number of new 'stand alone' web facilities by the end of the year.

Company Director, Mark Griffiths, introduced the brand, and explained the reason for a number of changes and additions to the company portfolio.

"Our new tyre insurance brand, TyreInsurance123, is a natural progression for Aequitas Automotive. Our core business of Gap Insurance is complemented by this product, because it is often sought by new car buyers to protect against the cost of replacement or repair of expensive tyres."

"The first key with our tyre insurance product is that it can be bought 'stand alone', and it is not a requirement that our customers must buy a Gap Insurance product too. This is often the case with other online providers, but we aim to introduce a new product to the market that does not require this at all."

"The other key features we aim to provide will include a higher limit to the number of claims than is currently available elsewhere, as well as a higher aggregate claim limits for the periods in question."

"Of course it would not be an Aequitas Automotive product if we did not try to provide the very lowest premium prices as well, and with TyreInsurance123 we hope not to disappoint. Having carefully studied the market, we have a reasonable expectation that our comparable products could be as low as half the price currently offered by other online providers."

The Aequitas Automotive Director also explained that the company expects to provide more than one tyre insurance product to its customers.

"Aequitas Automotive has built a panel of underwriters for our core Gap Insurance products, and expect the same will be in place for tyre insurance too. We believe this provides us with the tools for all eventualities and gives the very best choice for our customers. Aequitas plans to introduce tyre insurance alternatives on current brands like the new GapInsurance123 website "

Aequitas Automotive confirmed that TyreInsurance123 is expected to launch as a retail website within the next few weeks.
