Leading Training Expert/Magician to Speak on the Virtues of Delivering High-Impact, Entertaining Presentations

Grand Rapids, MI (PRWEB) October 4, 2004

Morrison IndustrialÂ's Corporate Trainer Russ Niedzwiecki will be speaking on Â"Energizing your MessageÂ" at the annual Captive Resources/Affinity Workshop in Schaumburg, Illinois on Friday, October 8. The 75-minute presentation will begin at 10am at the Hyatt Regency, 2500 Smith Road.

Niedzwiecki has performed hundreds of presentations for industrial clients including Georgia-Pacific, Eaton Corporation, Alcoa, Tenneco, Bosch Rexroth, Lear Corporation and Pfizer. Each presentation focuses on the goal of enlightening students while making them aware of their common surroundings, namely an industrial setting that includes working on or around forklifts.

Winning over the audience is one key component of success Niedzwiecki deals with up front. He says, Â"Working on lift trucks for 12 years has helped me to understand where operator concerns originate, and itÂ's key to making an immediate connection. Entertainment is an element that is often unexpected when youÂ're talking forklifts. ItÂ's great to see just how well these components blend together. Getting the class on your side can make or break the effectiveness of the training.Â"

Â"The dangers are sometimes obvious,Â" Niedzwiecki explains. Â"Forklifts can cause damage to people and things around them. But what the operator often doesnÂ't realize is the enormous impact that equipment can have when it makes contact. ItÂ's my job to make sure operators realize this and take another look at how they view their driving.Â"

Â"Another lookÂ" is just what Niedzwiecki presents- and in a rather refreshing way. Niedzwiecki is also a magician who not only trains industrial clients, he performs professionally as a magician. He also innovates, creates and markets his own unique effects to thousands around the globe in the magical entertainment industry. This combination of professions results in unique and refreshing presentations that students remember.

Â"Industrial training can tend to be a little dry,Â" Niedzwiecki states. Â"OSHA requires certain regulations to be covered, and unless thereÂ's a different take on how things are presented, thereÂ's a good chance the training effectiveness will suffer. Few people really want to be in class, since it is required training. My job is to make it interesting and really give students good reasons to address the issues and give them the chance to rethink safety once more. Â"

Niedzwiecki will be performing his unique blend of training at the Captive Resources/Affinity Workshop and will give examples to attendees on how to enhance and effectively improve their own training.

About Russell Niedzwiecki

Russ previously worked for 12 years in the food service wholesaling business at AmeriServe, and regularly operated sit-down counterbalance lift trucks, and specialty narrow aisle equipment known as reach trucks and orderpickers. It has given him the experience that has laid the foundation for his understanding of industrial equipment.

During this time, Niedzwiecki began to take his magic career seriously, performing for corporate events, hospitality suites and private parties, while marketing his own original effects, which he often uses in his training.
