Sunbelt Midwest Sells Temporary Labor Company

Labor All Personnel, with three Twin Cities' offices, sold to a local business executive. Dan Mulvaney of Sunbelt Business Advisors closed the sale in April 2013.
Labor All serves the Minnesota and western Wisconsin temporary labor markets for responsible and experienced blue-collar workers including truck drivers, forklift drivers, machine operators, and other positions required by the company's logistics, manufacturing, and service clients.
Labor All's owner Jim Wilson commented, "Sunbelt definitely added value to my business. They run a professional marketing campaign. Dan Mulvaney is positive, detail-oriented and gets closure. He helped me see things from the buyer's perspective."
Mulvaney said, "Jim Wilson had built a financially successful business with a good management team and a strong market niche. He was realistic in his pricing and we closed the transaction."
When asked why he wanted to buy a business, purchaser Jim Gilliam responded, "I wanted to control my future as opposed to having others control it." Gilliam is a 30-year high-level executive at SuperValu. Gilliam continued, "Labor All was the best fit professionally and financially. The business has a solid financial history and operates in a niche market with a loyal customer base and diversified revenue. I can grow the business."
When asked about Sunbelt's contribution to closing, Gilliam stated, "Sunbelt was absolutely invaluable. From providing contacts in financing, to staying on the owner to get information for due diligence, they made the process go smoothly. Sunbelt is very well organized and due diligence was far easier than I thought. Even though Sunbelt represented the Seller, they provided beneficial information to me."
Dan Mulvaney was introduced to Labor All by his CPA, Peter Maddalena. Maddalena is a partner at Minneapolis-based CPA firm Cummings Keegan. "Dan and Sunbelt closed a very difficult transaction for a prior client, and we liked their persistence and hard work. There is no doubt my clients have received added value from Sunbelt."
